Overview
Greece is is a magazine addressed mainly to foreign visitors to Greece and provides information about culture and entertainment usually focusing on one city or area of Greece. The magazine assigned us to do the cover for the Athens issue.
We chose to make an illustration of an owl - the symbol of the city of Athens. We designed an owl using the simplest forms possible and then in order to give depth to the image, we photographed colored pieces of paper that created circles. The photographs were composed digitally to match our design and then placed over a full moon.
