The American Farm School was founded in 1904 by American educators to serve the rural population of Greece, and continues up to the present to use its “learn by doing” approach to teach students of every age. Divisions include the Elementary School, Middle School, and High School, as well as the Perrotis College of Environment, Agriculture and Life Sciences awarding the bachelors and masters degrees.
The School’s farm produces milk and other dairy products, Omega-3 eggs and turkeys which are distributed in Thessaloniki and Athens stores and supermarkets.
We designed the institutional logo in 1994, based on the original seal of the American Farm School featuring the figure of a sower, and created the Perrotis College logo in 2000.
For the milk, eggs and other packaging, we used hand lettering that resembles white chalk writing on a school blackboard, emphasizing the link between farm production and education.
We designed fundraising brochures and other publications for donors to the School and Perrotis College in Greece and the United States.
